The Career Hub offers many ways for off-campus employers and community members to engage with and hire SRJC students.
1. Post Jobs, Internships, and Volunteer Opportunities
Hire SRJC Students & Alumni with Handshake! Handshake is a free online job posting platform where you can post employment opportunities as well as look for job candidates with the skill sets that best suit your business needs. Register as an employer on Handshake, get approved, and post your jobs.
Please note we are not able to approve personal or private employment positions at this time (i.e. caregiving, babysitting, roommates, etc.).
2. Recruit SRJC Students
Connect with one of our Job Developers to explore recruiting options at SRJC. This could include getting connected to Faculty or related programs, tabling, and participating in on-campus events.
3. Develop Internship Opportunities
An internship is essentially an entry level job connected to a field of study. These types of opportunities are essential building blocks for students to explore careers and establish work experience to get their foot in the door to the industries they are pursuing. 4. Support Students' Career Growth
Do you have a skill to share with SRJC students? Do you have career guidance that would help them succeed in industry? Reach out to our Job Developers to explore ways of giving back to SRJC students.
5. Upskill Your Workforce
Does your existing staff need to gain new skills for your company to be competitive in today's economy? Do you have staff currently attending SRJC? Did you know they can get college credit for their existing job with you?
