When can a student start working?
After you receive the Career Hub’s clearance email with the student’s EID. Don’t start work before clearance.
Do I need a recruitment for every position?
Yes. All on-campus positions must be recruited in Handshake first. Only students who applied and are eligibility-cleared will be processed.
How long does hiring/rehiring take?
Varies by documents (I-9, work authorization, fingerprinting if required). Complete packets and quick replies speed things up.
