Join us November 3rd for an introductory conversation about the LAEP grant and developing learning-aligned employment opportunities for SRJC students!
Let’s talk about:

• What is the Learning-Aligned Employment Program grant?
• What are the eligibility requirements for students to participate?
• What majors and programs can benefit from connecting students to work experiences?
• Does SRJC have student employee staffing needs that can align with programs of study?
• Are there SRJC research projects that would benefit by having additional student support?
SRJC was awarded a grant to participate in the Learning-Aligned Employment Program (LAEP) aimed at developing paid work opportunities for eligible students that align with their education paths or career interests. This presentation is for the SRJC community to learn about LAEP and receive information about connecting students with paid work opportunities related to their fields of study, to develop internships with employers in the area, or to create jobs for students giving them paid experience in the careers they are pursuing.
You should come to this presentation if:
• Your department has an internal internship possibility for a student to gain experience in their field of study
• You know local employers who are looking to hire students in paid internship positions
• You know students who are looking to gain work experience in their fields of study
Flex Credit is available for this presentation time.
Registering ahead of time will allow us to cater the presentation to the attendees in the room. Registration is preferred, but not necessary in order to attend.
