STUDENT EMPLOYMENT TECH REQUEST

Your student employees may need technological assistance when working for your department or when they are working remotely. Learn more about how the district can hep aid your student's work by reading below.

 

DOES YOUR STUDENT NEED A NAMED ACCOUNT?

A student employee will need a ‘Named SRJC Account’ (ex. jsmith@santarosa.edu) if they need any of the following:

  • Make / Receive Phone Calls using Jabber
  • An employee loaner laptop

To get a named account, the supervisor will need to submit a request for a named account. Once the account is created, the student will be notified.

If a student employee needs to make/receive phone calls, a task for a Jabber account is created after the account is created.

If a student employee needs an employee loaner laptop, a task for a loaner laptop is created after the Jabber account is created.

The supervisor is notified when the entire ticket has been completed.
