LAEP is currently accepting student applications to participate.

There may be a delay in response to new LAEP applications due to the holiday break. We will be responding to applications on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note:

  • Please review the Learn about LAEP and Eligibility Criteria pages BEFORE Applying.
  • You will need your SRJC Student ID to complete this application
  • If you already are connected with a LAEP approved job, please have the contact information of the company/department and your supervisor ready to input
  • If you have a resume, please upload that into the application (optional)
  • Applying to participate in LAEP does not guarantee eligibility

Additional Instructions:

  • Fill out as much as the form as possible to ensure a timely and effective response from our LAEP Coordinator.
  • If you need assistance filling out the application, please contact our LAEP Coordinator
  • LAEP applications will be reviewed by Financial Aid and an email will be sent once verification is complete. This may take up to one to two weeks depending on the number of applications received.

How will I know if I'm eligible?

You will receive an email confirming your eligibility after Financial Aid reviews your application.

Can I start working in my LAEP Job before I receive the confirmation?

You must go through the LAEP student onboarding process prior to beginning work under the LAEP grant. It is up to the employer as to when your work will begin, however, the employer's wage reimbursement will not begin until after all agreements have been signed.

What do I do if I'm not eligible?

The Career Hub still wants to work with you to develop learning-aligned employment opportunities! Visit our Internship and Work Experience pages, or make an appointment with one of our Job Developers to explore the possibilities.
